One of the things the Lord God does for you is to give you good things. He wants to give you good things regardless of what you and I would want to have. Like a father who would strive to give the best things to his child because he loves the child, The Lord always wants the best for you.
I am saying this even when you are not in the best of times or in your happiest times. It is still true that he loves you with un-quenching love and care. If he died on that wretched cross for your sins and mine, then what else would be need as proof.
Once in a while we can be tested, our faith questioned and our belief in the Lord might be shaken but it is essential to remember that he has not forsaken you and would always care for you. All you need is to realize that HE is in control and never stop believing in him. As the psalmist says in Psalm 107:9, For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Keep your faith in HIM and do not let go of your faith, for your faith would help you. Both in times of pleasure or discomfort. May the Lord help you walk in faith.
